Launched in 1992, the Suzuki GSXR-600 has remained one of the most popular
sportbikes ever made. From it's humble beginning of a low production motorcycle,
the GSXR-600 has continued to gain in popularity year after year. For a couple
of decades, Suzuki continued producing the GSXR-600 without any major
modifications. That changed in 2004 when Suzuki did nearly a complete make-over
of the GSXR-600. They narrowed the overall profile of the bike, improved the
suspension and included four-piston radial mount front brake calipers,
dramatically improving the GSXR-600's breaking capability. Along with the new
color schemes, the Suzuki GSX-600 was coming into it's own. Continuing it's
improvement of the GSX-R600 Suzuki brought out the fuel injected bike in 2006.
They gave the bike a new engine and a new chassis, making an already fast bike
even faster. Today, the Suzuki GSX-R600 remains at the top of it's class. Fast,
aerodynamic, fuel injected with excellent power to weight ratios.
